The Com Plex Motel - Whakatane

Water splashed everywhere, making the floor a wet mess. If you're not careful and forget a towel, you'll spend extra time cleaning up. It got annoying fast!

We greatly enjoyed the best and comfy location of this place.

Unbeatable location 'close to everything, extremely friendly staff, everything was lovely. Location: the hotel was near to a local waterfall, Whakatane Heads and the beach, and the pub. In the evening we went to Popsies Indian, located at a medium distance from the venue.

we had a very nice stay at Com Plex Motel on the wharf. the room was modern and clean, with great shower pressure and a/c to keep us cool. staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. there's a lovely little waterfall behind the complex, perfect for a picnic or kids' entertainment. the location is convenient at the end of town, with a bar/restaurant nearby and spacious units for a peaceful stay.

I really liked the modern vibe of the hotel! Our room was ready right at check-in, which was a nice surprise. Plus, it's super close to shops and restaurants but not stuck in the hustle and bustle. The on-site bar/restaurant looked awesome, even though we didn't get to try it.

The toilet in our room wasn't cleaned properly—yikes! The bed was pretty uncomfortable, and we noticed weird stuff like a camera pointing into our room. No bathtub was a bummer too, and the noise from other guests kept us up. it was a mixed bag.

The central location made exploring Whakatane a breeze, and having the Comm restaurant next door was a lifesaver for family dinners. the spacious and clean rooms, along with accommodating staff, made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend for families looking for convenience and comfort!

My wife says that a small playground or children's area on the premises would have been a great addition for families with little ones.

Convenient location, just a 2-minute walk to the main street. Rooms are modern and spotless. Friendly staff provide excellent service. the restaurant next door offers great dining options. Parking is right outside the door. *.

Perfectly located near beautiful landmarks like Wairere Falls and Kohi Point Lookout, it offered a serene environment complemented by the soothing sounds of birdsong and even kiwi calls at night. the staff went above and beyond, and the room was clean, spacious, and bright, but I did find the room fragrance a bit overpowering. a lovely stay!

We were actually surprised by the spacious and immaculate disabled-friendly studio we were provided at short notice due to my current injury. The dedicated car park and convenient location made our stay at Com Plex Motel stress-free. The nearby restaurant was a bonus. The cozy atmosphere and essential amenities was so good. I'd recommend this hotel.
